And of course, Ms. Kendra, too. Thanks for a great year!!!We then were beach-bound. The kids absolutely loved every part of it. Colten loved the condo, loved the pool, loved his pull-out bed, even loved the ride in the car. But most of all...they loved the beach!!! Neither minded the sand, salt water or waves. It was so much fun to see them having so much fun. The weather was perfect, not too hot. It even rained duing lunch and then during naptime to cool us off. We couldn't have asked for better weather. We spent most of the time at the beach, playing, splashing, jumping the waves, searching for shells and of course building sandcastles.
Cambry would crawl right out into the waves, even mouthfuls of water could not stop her. Colten was just as eager.
Buried in the sand.
Chillin' by the pool.
The hat I bought that she refused to leave on her head... We walked around the town and did a little shopping. Colten loved the big shark.
On our way home, we stopped to tour the USS Lexington ship. What an amazing tour!!! We went all over the ship, it was truly fascinating. Colten in the ship's jail...
We're already looking forward to next year. Colten has asked several times when we can go again. I'm just so thankful both kiddos did so well. It was a little difficult sharing one room, but they were champs and even slept well for us!!!
And...one more update. Cambry took 4 steps today!!! She's been standing for a little while now on her own and today just took off. I was pretty amazed at her balance, she stood up and walked to me then sat down so gracefully. She is such a busy one...
Stuck in her own chair, and not too happy about it.
