more summer fun!!!

Summer is sadly coming to an end, but oh what fun we have had. A couple of blogs to come about our vacations this summer, but here are a few in between events worthy of sharing!!! We had a fun 4th of July evening with the Kunkels and Sturgesses. We spent the evening eating LOTS of great food and shooting fireworks. It was a late night, but the kids hung in there and did great.

We were able to go to a SA Missions game, courtesy of Caleb's work a few weeks ago. The seats were terrific and we ate all the stadium food possible. The kids loved it!!!

We also attended family night at the Wittie museum with Caleb's work. What another great treat!!! The exhibits were great, especially the Dinosaurs. There was so much for the kids to see and do, so interactive!!! We had dinner and then the whole museum to ourselves...

Colten's Birthday...long overdue

We had a great day celebrating Colten on his birthday this year!!! He decided on a Star Wars- pool party. Easy enough, until Hurricane Alex invaded South Texas. It rained and rained and rained. Despite the rain, Colten had a GREAT party, the rain did not stop the fun!!! Whew (sigh of relief on my part for sure)!!!

We were SO thrilled to have Aunt Chera, Kalyn and Sheldon stay with us ALL day and that night. Colten's last swim lesson was on his birthday, so we took everyone and played at the water park before AND after his lessons...

And...we concluded with eating out of course!!! My parents stayed around for ALL the festivities and we met up with Doc and Gram to celebrate one last time!!!

Our News

Baby #3 is on the way!!! Cambry got "Big Sis" pajamas at her party, although she's not too big on the idea just yet. Or really, just doesn't understand what's going on. Colten is thrilled, he's been talking and asking for a while now. I'm about ten weeks now and feeling so-so, the weeks seem to be getting a little better, so hopefully we're on the upswing. Will keep you all posted...

Cambry's "Pink Puppy" Party

We celebrated Cambry's 2nd birthday with a Pink Puppy party, in honor of her favorite animal and favorite color. It has been a quick two years, she has blessed our lives immensely!!!

Let the Celebrations Begin...

Colten's class celebrated all the summer birthdays at the end of school with a "birthday"snack for each kiddo. It was just the beginning of weeks of celebrations in our family...

The end of school came waaaay too soon I say!!! We had a fun end of the year picnic with all the parents, kids and teachers.

We have been in full GO mode around here. So far we have had VBS, our annual Osbourn reunion (a great HOT time, check my FB page for pics) and are in our last week of swim lessons. In between we have spent lots of time outside, in the water of course!!!

We celebrated Caleb's 31st birthday mid-June...

Cambry turned two (she gets her own birthday post, still to come) immediately followed by Father's Day.
