May Events

We have had several "celebrations" in May so far. A friend from work's daughter's party was at the original Kiddie Park. It was so fun to watch the kiddos ride the "older" rides and have so much fun. It is so amazing how they have preserved the rides and made them safe still for kids and families to enjoy.
the kids loved the carousel, we each got to choose our own "horsey" to ride

time for a boat ride

flying high

going up in the Ferris wheel

taking a ride in a spaceship (honestly this one scared me a bit, it was pretty fast for Cambry and as you can see she was kind of thrown around during the ride...but she loooved it!!)the school bus "train"

Colten's turn at the pinata, he has a pretty good swing and cracked it enough so the dads could have a turn and bust it open...atta boy!!!

The next weekend was Caleb's company's annual family picnic. We missed last year and heard the place was great for kids, so we were excited to see what activities were planned this year.
we went down the river on a barge

Cambry expressing her independence...a common thing these days

Colten chillin' in the saddle

We went on a hay ride and got to see some of the livestock they raise...a buffalo shedding for the summer (not the prettiest)!!!

one of several longhorns

at the petting zoo

pony rides

Colten's turn at the water balloon launcher
What a fun afternoon!!! There were also different tournaments, bounce houses, relay races, and more. Thanks for a fun time PD!!!

April Rundown

I just happened to skim through my pictures, and WOW have I gotten behind on blogging...so here's April!!! April means Fiesta time in San Antonio!!! OHP had another fantastic Fiesta day, filled with a parade, booths, great food and lots of excitement. Colten's float was....take a guess, could it be??...you guessed it STAR WARS. It took a little engineering from Daddy, but hey that's what that A&M degree is for, right?!

proud of his float

showing it off

Random pic, but Cambry has really been proud of herself for "trying" the potty lately. No success just yet, but maybe soon?! We took a short weekend trip to Llano to "get away" and enjoy the BEAUTIFUL flowers this spring. It was revitalizing for us all!!!
