It's been weeks of celebrating in our household, ending this Friday with Colten's 6th birthday!!! It's always a busy time of the year, but so much fun to celebrate all the wonderful blessings in our family.

We decided to have a "family-style" birthday this year for Cambry. Her pick was Dora, so we stuck with the theme and decided on lunch at Rainforest Cafe followed by some "exploring" at the zoo. It fit her just right!!! opening her new Dora bag with stickers...one happy girl!!!

Doc and Gram were gracious enough (ha!!) to take Carrys with them instead of the zoo. It was a lifesaver, it was H-O-T and she would have been miserable!!! But, the rest of us headed out and braved the heat at Cambry's request.

Cambry had wanted to go since Colten and I took a trip with his Kindergarten class in the spring. We took lots of pictures to show her, but it just wasn't enough. She was most excited to see an elephant, monkey, zebra and the okapi. She was very pleased and extremely worn out!!!

Thank you to all of you for making Cambry's day extra special. You all mean SO much to her and to us. She is our precious girl...so independent, spunky, quick-witted and so much more!!! She has blessed our lives for 3 amazing years now and we cannot wait to see the person God is molding her to become!!!celebrating Father's Day too with Doc

One evening we rented the city pool for just our family and completely filled it with everyone. It was a blast to have all the kiddos and parents together. The pool still has a short diving board which was a HUGE hit...especially for "no fear" Colten.
The BIG boys also got in on the action and by the end of the evening the high-dive (which has been turned into a life guard station) was the next challenge. And...oh yes, my boys accepted the challenge and loved every minute of it!!!
Cambry was happy just swimming in the big pool with Kristi and Kyndel and then the wading pool with Emma...she's a little fish!!
Carrys got her feet wet, but was highly entertained by all the action. A great one of Oni and Carrys.
